Crowsnest Pass Health Centre requires volunteers to help long-term care residents celebrate their birthdays on the first Thursday of every month, from 1-2:30 p.m. Duties include: transporting residents to celebrations, serving cake and helping with set up and clean up. Volunteers are also needed at the facility to greet clients in the lab and X-ray areas to answer questions and assist with the registration process. A number of departments have recently relocated and the ASSET volunteers play a crucial role in greeting patients and visitors, and helping them get to appointments on time. Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation is seeking cashiers to volunteer in the gift shop at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for a few hours per month: mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends.
