Keeva Steele, 12 years old, was last seen on the evening of November 7 in Lethbridge, Alberta, however it is believed that she may be on the Blood Reserve. Keeva has shoulder length dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and wears glasses. She is approximately 5’2” and weighs 85lbs.

Missing 35 year old Grande Prairie man
Police are asking for the public's assistance to locate a 35 year old Native male who has been missing since November 3, 2013.

Delmer Horseman, a 35 year old Native/Aboriginal male from Grande Prairie was last seen at an Edmonton Bus Depot on November 3, 2013. Family members have not heard from him since and consider this to be very unusual. There is nothing to indicate at the present time that Horseman's disappearance is suspicious. However, all attempts by the RCMP to locate Horseman have been unsuccessful. RCMP hope that with the public's assistance that Horseman will be located.
Horseman is described as male, Native (Aboriginal/First Nations), bald, moustache, eyebrow ring, 5 feet 11 inches tall 230 lbs with a skull tattoo on the back of his head, along with several other tattoos on his body. It was unknown what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Taber/Vauxhall RCMP respond to fatal Motor Vehicle Collision
On Sunday November 10th, 2013 at approximately 5:30 PM Taber/Vauxhall RCMP were called to a fatal two vehicle Collision on Highway 36 just South of the Bow River. Involved was a Northbound Minivan with a family of four occupants and a Southbound Pontiac car with one male driver. Investigation on scene revealed that the Southbound car slid into the Northbound lane of travel where the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Pontiac car died at the scene; the male driver of the Van is still being treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. Remaining occupants of the Van were released from Hospital with some minor injuries. Names and details of the people involved will not be released to the Public at the families request . Speed and road conditions are believed to have been contributing factors to the cause of this collision. The RCMP are continuing to investigate this matter.
Break Enter and Thefts in Cochrane
Cochrane RCMP would like to inform residents of Cochrane and Area of a safety concern that has surfaced over the past week. Unknown culprits enter parked vehicles and remove personal items including the garage door opener to a residence. The residence is then targeted , the culprits using the garage door opener open the garage door approx. 12-18 inches off the ground and gain entry into the garage. Once inside the garage, the culprits make their way into the residence and remove personal items at random. On one occasions, the culprits entered the residence when the home owners and their children were asleep.
RCMP would like to remind you to remove or secure all garage door openers from the vehicle when left unattended and in the case of an attached garage, to ensure the door between the garage and home is locked. If you see any suspicious activity Police should be notified immediately.

Collision at Highways 49 and 725
At 8:45 am. today, November 12, 2013, Spirit River RCMP were called to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 49 near Highway 725.
A 37 year old Edmonton man was driving a Ford F150 pick up truck (lone occupant) east on Highway 49. He allegedly crossed the line of centre into an oncoming west bound Peterbilt semi truck and trailer. A collision resulted causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.
Neither the pick up truck driver, nor the 30 year old Medicine Hat woman (lone occupant) driving the semi truck were injured as a result of the collision.
Police continue their investigation.
Drive shaft stolen from vehicle in St. Albert motel parking lot
On October 14th, 2013, at approximately 3:50 p.m., an unknown male was seen walking from the Sleep Inn Motel carrying what appeared to be a drive shaft. The unknown male was questioned and he stated it was broken and needed to be fixed.
The following morning, St. Albert RCMP received a call from a man who was staying at the Sleepy Inn Motel. The man stated the drive shaft from his grey chevy Silverado 2500, which was parked in the hotel guest parking lot, had been stolen.
The unidentified male who was seen in possession of a drive shaft (or what was believed to be a drive shaft) is described as approximately 6 feet tall, short dark hair, clean shaven and wore a white t-shirt.
St. Albert RCMP is looking for your help to identify the individual who was seen in possession of the drive shaft or any other culprit(s) involved in this Theft. Man arrested at the scene of Penhold area Break Enter and Theft
On November 10, 2013 at approximately 9:20 am, police were called in regards to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle, which was located on a rural property near Penhold, Alberta. Members of the Innisfail RCMP Detachment along with the Innisfail Integrated Traffic Unit made an immediate patrol. Once on scene they located a Gold 1999 GMC Envoy with a trailer attached. On the flat deck trailer was a four wheeled all terrain vehicle. The GMC Envoy appeared to be stuck in the snow.
Further investigation revealed that a building on the property had been forcibly entered. It was also found that both the ATV and flat deck trailer had been reported stolen.
A 32 year old man, Adam Webb, was located on scene and was arrested without incident and subsequently charged with four offences: Break Enter and Theft; Mischief; and two counts of Possession of Stolen Property. He was remanded to custody and is to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on November 13, 2013.
RCMP Seeking the Public’s Assistance in Solving Amber Tuccaro’s murder
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is unveiling a billboard by the intersection of Highway 814 and Airport Road near Nisku in Alberta, calling on to the public to help solve the murder of Amber Tuccaro. Amber’s mother, Vivian Tuccaro will lead a healing ceremony in honor of her daughter during the unveiling.
The RCMP is asking the public to go to its national website at www.rcmp.ca or the KARE website at www.kare.ca and listen to the audio recording of a man’s voice. RCMP investigators believe that this man was with Amber shortly before she disappeared.

Amber Tuccaro was reported missing on August 18th, 2010 after she failed to return to a hotel in Nisku, 27 kilometers south of Edmonton, Alberta where she had been staying with her infant son and a female friend. Amber Tuccaro was a resident of Fort McMurray, Alberta at the time of her disappearance. Amber Tuccaro's remains were discovered on September 1, 2012.

Road rage suspected after Strathmore area man is shot in face
On Tuesday morning, November 12th, 2013 at approximately 5:35 a.m. the Strathmore RCMP received a 911 complaint of a male that had been shot in the face. The victim advised he was in the Wrangler Park Industrial area, a rural patrol area of Strathmore Detachment.
Members attended the location along with Emergency Medical Services (ambulance) and located the lone male victim. The victim had been shot in the face with what appeared to be a pellet gun. The victim was released by EMS and taken to hospital by the RCMP. The victim received injuries to his face but these injuries are not considered life threatening.
The suspect was located and arrested without incident by the Strathmore RCMP officers. Due to the proximity to the City of Calgary and the Town of Chestermere officers from both these jurisdictions attended to the Wrangler Industrial Park area to assist Strathmore Detachment members on the initial call.
The aggravating situation that caused this incident to escalate to a violent confrontation was believed to be from a road rage incident that occurred in Calgary just a few minutes earlier.
Strathmore RCMP continue to investigate this incident with the assistance of the Calgary and Strathmore General Investigation Sections and the Calgary Forensic Investigation Section.

Police investigate attempted convenience store robbery in Grande Prairie
Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a down town convenience store earlier this morning.
This morning at approximately 4:55 a.m. two male suspects entered a convenience store in the area of 100th Street and 105th Avenue. Upon entering the store the suspects approached the male employee from behind and sprayed him with what is believed to be bear spray. The manager in the back of the store heard the commotion and came to see what was going on. This caused the suspects to flee the store and leave the area in what is believed to be a small dark coloured vehicle.
The employee that was assaulted sustained minor injuries associated with being sprayed with an irritant and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Spruce Grove youth robbed at gunpoint
Shortly before midnight on November 8th, a young person was walking home on a path behind St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Spruce Grove, just East of Grove Drive and King Street.
He observed a white Chrysler 300 (stock photo attached) circle him a couple times along the adjacent alley. The vehicle stopped beside him, and three males exited the vehicle and approached him on the path.
One male produced what appeared to be a black 9mm handgun from his waistband, and pointed it at the youth, demanding he empty his pockets. The youth turned over his wallet and cell phone, then ran home.
The Chrysler 300 had tinted windows and six-spoked 20" silver rims. It was approximately a 2009 to 2011 model year.
The vehicle driver was a dark skinned male, and the two passengers were light-skinned males. All three were wearing dark clothing with black bandanas over their faces.
The youth felt they were between 5'10 and 6'4, with average builds, and were between 18 and 24 years of age.
Theft of valves valued at $130,000 in Grande Prairie
Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating the theft of a number of oil field ball valves from a business in Grande Prairie. The value of the valves that have been stolen is approximately $130,000.
On November 8, 2013 an employee from a Grande Prairie business reported that a number of valves had been stolen from the yard. The theft is believed to have occurred between November 1 and November 5, 2013. Unknown suspects are believed to have entered the yard and stole 17 valves valued at $6000 to $7000 each (pictures attached). Each valve weighs approximately 500 lbs each. Thus, a fork lift or picker truck would most likely have been required to remove and load the valves onto a vehicle. Each valve is serial numbered.
RCMP are asking local industry to be aware of this stolen property and check for proper documentation or signs of serial number tampering. If it looks or appears suspicious or tampered with please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701.
RCMP Canmore Weekly Media Release November 5th to the 12th, 2013
On November 8th, 2013 at approximately 11:45 pm, the Canmore RCMP conducted an Alberta Checkstop on the Trans Canada Highway East of the Banff National Park Gates. While interacting with a vehicle driver, RCMP detected an odor of what was believed to be marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 4.5 pounds of what is believed to be cannabis marijuana. 22 year old Kristen Shaw of Saskatoon, SK has been charged Under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in relation to the investigation.
On November 11th, 2013, Canmore RCMP received a complaint from a Canmore resident that he had received a call in which the caller stated that the complainant’s nephew had been involved in a traffic accident, and required the caller to send money. The complainant checked with his nephew, and found that the call was fraudulent. The complainant did not send money, and reported the incident to police. The RCMP reminds people to be vigilant when dealing with unknown callers, and to never send money under suspicious circumstances.
On November 12th, 2013 at approximately 1:45 am, Canmore RCMP stopped an East bound vehicle for a violation under the Vehicle Equipment Regulations near the Banff National Park gates. Upon speaking with the vehicle occupants, RCMP observed what was believed to be cannabis marijuana in the vehicle. Upon a further search of the vehicle subsequent to the investigation, RCMP found 32.5 pounds of what is believed to be cannabis marijuana hidden within a compartment in a slip tank. Kelowna, BC residents 27 year old Brandon Revell and 40 year old Dean Ball have been charged Under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in relation to the investigation.
During this period the Canmore RCMP also responded to 20 calls for disturbances, arrested and charged one impaired driver, and dealt with over 30 driving complaints and infractions.
The Canmore RCMP reminds motorists that children are back in school, and, as such, they should be aware and drive with caution in and around school and playground zones.

Charges laid by RCMP Red Deer City after execution of search warrants for drugs
Red Deer RCMP have laid several charges against four (4) males in relation to the Search Warrants that were executed in Red Deer and Innisfail on November 8th, 2013.

RCMP officers make three arrests in Chelsea Yellowbird Homicide Investigation
Today, the RCMP announced the final arrest in the murder of Chelsea Yellowbird, the 23-year-old woman who was shot outside of a residence at the Samson Cree Nations on September 5, 2011.
Shelby Minde (age 20), Randall Omeasoo (age 21) were arrested respectively on November 6 and 7 and, Wacey Applegarth (age 20) of Hobbema was arrested on November 8, 2013. All three individuals are facing Criminal Code charges of First degree murder. In announcing the arrests, the RCMP acknowledged the important role local community cooperation and support played in this investigation.
“The death of Chelsea Yellowbird was a tragedy for this entire community,” said Inspector Charles Wood, Officer in Charge of Maskwacis (Hobbema) RCMP Detachment. “Community engagement has helped us solve this case and today our investigators are satisfied that all responsible for Chelsea’s murder have been arrested.”
The 26 month investigation was headed by a team of Calgary RCMP Major Crimes investigators. They were assisted by the Hobbema RCMP Community Response Unit, Wetaskiwin/Hobbema General Investigation Section and RCMP support sections throughout Alberta such as the Forensic Identification Section, Police Dog Services, Specialized Technical Operations team (STO team) as well as the “F” Division Dive Team and Calgary Police Service Tactical Unit.
Investigators processed numerous tips, interacted with hundreds of witnesses, searched local waterways and utilized tools such as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle during this investigation.

The vehicle driver was a dark skinned male, and the two passengers were light-skinned males. All three were wearing dark clothing with black bandanas over their faces.
The youth felt they were between 5'10 and 6'4, with average builds, and were between 18 and 24 years of age.
Theft of valves valued at $130,000 in Grande Prairie
Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating the theft of a number of oil field ball valves from a business in Grande Prairie. The value of the valves that have been stolen is approximately $130,000.
On November 8, 2013 an employee from a Grande Prairie business reported that a number of valves had been stolen from the yard. The theft is believed to have occurred between November 1 and November 5, 2013. Unknown suspects are believed to have entered the yard and stole 17 valves valued at $6000 to $7000 each (pictures attached). Each valve weighs approximately 500 lbs each. Thus, a fork lift or picker truck would most likely have been required to remove and load the valves onto a vehicle. Each valve is serial numbered.
RCMP are asking local industry to be aware of this stolen property and check for proper documentation or signs of serial number tampering. If it looks or appears suspicious or tampered with please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701.
RCMP Canmore Weekly Media Release November 5th to the 12th, 2013
On November 8th, 2013 at approximately 11:45 pm, the Canmore RCMP conducted an Alberta Checkstop on the Trans Canada Highway East of the Banff National Park Gates. While interacting with a vehicle driver, RCMP detected an odor of what was believed to be marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 4.5 pounds of what is believed to be cannabis marijuana. 22 year old Kristen Shaw of Saskatoon, SK has been charged Under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in relation to the investigation.
On November 11th, 2013, Canmore RCMP received a complaint from a Canmore resident that he had received a call in which the caller stated that the complainant’s nephew had been involved in a traffic accident, and required the caller to send money. The complainant checked with his nephew, and found that the call was fraudulent. The complainant did not send money, and reported the incident to police. The RCMP reminds people to be vigilant when dealing with unknown callers, and to never send money under suspicious circumstances.
On November 12th, 2013 at approximately 1:45 am, Canmore RCMP stopped an East bound vehicle for a violation under the Vehicle Equipment Regulations near the Banff National Park gates. Upon speaking with the vehicle occupants, RCMP observed what was believed to be cannabis marijuana in the vehicle. Upon a further search of the vehicle subsequent to the investigation, RCMP found 32.5 pounds of what is believed to be cannabis marijuana hidden within a compartment in a slip tank. Kelowna, BC residents 27 year old Brandon Revell and 40 year old Dean Ball have been charged Under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in relation to the investigation.
During this period the Canmore RCMP also responded to 20 calls for disturbances, arrested and charged one impaired driver, and dealt with over 30 driving complaints and infractions.
The Canmore RCMP reminds motorists that children are back in school, and, as such, they should be aware and drive with caution in and around school and playground zones.

Charges laid by RCMP Red Deer City after execution of search warrants for drugs
Red Deer RCMP have laid several charges against four (4) males in relation to the Search Warrants that were executed in Red Deer and Innisfail on November 8th, 2013.
The following males have been charged:
- Steven Michael HERMAN, 32 year old, from Red Deer, AB.
- Cory James LESPERANCE, 29 year old, from Innisfail, AB.
- Kevin Jean-Yves NOEL, 30 years old, from Red Deer, AB.
- Nicholas David WHITE, 22 years old, from Red Deer, AB.
HERMAN, LESPERANCE, NOEL and WHITE have been charged with the following offences:
- Section 5(2) CDSA - Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking X 2
- Section 4(1) CDSA - Possession of a Controlled Substance X 2
- Section 355(1)(a) Criminal Code - Possession of Property obtained by Crime.
- Section 96(1) Criminal Code - Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Commission of an Offence.
- Section 91(2) Criminal Code - Possession of a Prohibited Weapon X 2.
- Section 86(1) - Criminal Code - Careless use of a Firearm.
In addition HERMAN and LESPERANCE have been charged with the following offence:
- Section 117.01(1) Criminal Code - Possession of a weapon while Prohibited.
HERMAN, LESPERANCE and WHITE have been remanded in custody and will make their next court appearance on Tuesday November 12th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in Alberta Provincial Court in Red Deer, AB.
NOEL has been remanded in custody and will make his next court appearance on Thursday November 14th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in Alberta Provincial Court in Red Deer, AB.
RCMP officers make three arrests in Chelsea Yellowbird Homicide Investigation
Today, the RCMP announced the final arrest in the murder of Chelsea Yellowbird, the 23-year-old woman who was shot outside of a residence at the Samson Cree Nations on September 5, 2011.
Shelby Minde (age 20), Randall Omeasoo (age 21) were arrested respectively on November 6 and 7 and, Wacey Applegarth (age 20) of Hobbema was arrested on November 8, 2013. All three individuals are facing Criminal Code charges of First degree murder. In announcing the arrests, the RCMP acknowledged the important role local community cooperation and support played in this investigation.
“The death of Chelsea Yellowbird was a tragedy for this entire community,” said Inspector Charles Wood, Officer in Charge of Maskwacis (Hobbema) RCMP Detachment. “Community engagement has helped us solve this case and today our investigators are satisfied that all responsible for Chelsea’s murder have been arrested.”
The 26 month investigation was headed by a team of Calgary RCMP Major Crimes investigators. They were assisted by the Hobbema RCMP Community Response Unit, Wetaskiwin/Hobbema General Investigation Section and RCMP support sections throughout Alberta such as the Forensic Identification Section, Police Dog Services, Specialized Technical Operations team (STO team) as well as the “F” Division Dive Team and Calgary Police Service Tactical Unit.
Investigators processed numerous tips, interacted with hundreds of witnesses, searched local waterways and utilized tools such as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle during this investigation.
