Pincher Creek B Boys Matthew Halton Hawks hosted Crowsnest Pass Panthers on Thursday, January 23. It was a relatively close game in the first quarter, but the Panthers pushed hard, winning the game by a wide margin. Panthers Aden Janson and Spencer Dorge tied for team high score with 10 points each and high scorer for the Hawks was Ben Mitchell with 7 points. Hawks Coach Gerald Erickson sees a definite improvement in the Hawks game, even if the final score did not reflect it.
"This is our fifth game, I believe, four wins, one loss," said Panthers Coach Craig Hay. "There is more grade sevens than eights, but they are doing really well. They are eager to play and are good learners. I think we are going to develop into a really good team over the years."
