Girl Guides will be selling Classic Chocolate and Vanilla Sandwich cookies door-to-door for the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for them. Cookies are only $5.00 per box, or $ 60.00 per case of 12.
In the Crowsnest Pass in addition to door-to-door sales the Guides will be at the 26th annual Lifestyle show, to be held at the Coleman Sports Complex May 2, and 3, 2014.
Cookies can also be purchased at Ruffles in Pincher Creek for the month of April or until they're gone.
This fundraiser is important because Girl Guides is a not-for-profit organization, and funds raised from cookie sales support programs that give girls the chance to discover new interests, learn valuable leadership skills, and make lasting friendships. Selling cookies helps girls and young women learn skills such as: teamwork, self-confidence, planning and goal setting, responsibility, community involvement, safety awareness, courtesy, problem solving, and decision making.
