Bruce Lybbert, Out and About

Geese are taking over the fields near the roundabout. They seem to be saying over and over "Where is the sun? Isn't this supposed to be spring?"

The ice is out of the arena.

Many people headed out for just one more run at the ski hill.

With true southern Alberta flair many people were greeted last Saturday by cold and blowing snow to be replaced a couple hours later by sun and blue sky.

Lloyd Lybbert at Pass Powderkeg

Usually my son Lloyd's hill is Westcastle but we decided to check out the Crowsnest Pass Powderkeg . As we got to the hill the weather cleared, and it became a great day to be there. we got to enjoy the day with a few others, including Dustin Snider showing his freestyle skills, and Kaytlin and Isabella Kremenik out with Grandpa. Thanks to the staff for being very courteous and kind, as it was our first time skiing there.

It was a beautiful day and we hope to go back to Powderkeg next season.
