Major Ghislain Leroux, Commanding Officer of 1 Military Police Squadron in Cold Lake AB, was on hand to inspect local air cadets parading on Monday the 9th of June. This was 859 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron’s 37th Annual Ceremonial Review marking the symbolic end to local training that runs between September and June. 859 Squadron has been affiliated with 1 Military Police Squadron since 2013, a relationship that invokes a special connection between members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the cadets through a shared pride in the military police profession and its history. The parade commander for the event was Warrant Officer 2st-Class Nigal Smith, the senior cadet with the squadron.
