Community Foundation introduces online grant system

  • Fall 2013 Community Impact grant applications being accepted until September 16

Lethbridge, AB (September 4, 2013) – The Community Foundation is now accepting all Community Impact Grant applications via their online system. Applicants can visit http://cflsa.fluidreview.com to apply today. The application period will remain open until Monday, September 16 at 4:00 pm.

Organizations must be registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, or be in association with a municipality. Grant applications, as well as more information on eligibility and funding criteria, can be found on the Community Foundation website (www.cflsa.ca). The Community Foundation staff is also available to assist organizations with their grant applications at 403-328-5297.

With two granting cycles per year, the Community Foundation focuses on awarding grants in three key areas: Essentials for Living, Community Vitality, and Healthy Living. In spring 2013, 43 Community Impact Grants totalling $211,240 were awarded to deserving organizations in southwestern Alberta (our territory stretches from the U.S. border north to Nanton and from the B.C. border east to Grassy Lake).

The funding for the Community Impact Grants is generated from the investment income of permanent endowments established by generous donors.

“It is always exciting to see the impact our granting program has on organizations in southwest Alberta,” says Dianne King, Foundation President. “We look forward to seeing how our grants can make a difference to your organization this fall.”
