On Sunday, November 24, at 4:16 pm Crowsnest Pass Back Country Rescue and RCMP responded to a call for help. A lone traveler had taken his ski-doo into the back country along Lions Creek and had a mechanical breakdown in the Basins close to the Alberta/British Columbia border. The traveler made a phone call to his wife in Calgary and she contacted local RCMP with his GPS coordinates so that he could be located.
