Welcome to the Crowsnest Voice

We're relaunching the Crowsnest Voice.  I've wiped the previous content from this site, which was posted when we tried it about a year and a half ago, as we are starting all over again.  Toni Lucas and I also publish the Pincher Creek Voice.  In the slightly more than 2 years since we began that endeavour we've seen the readership of that site increase from zero to over 2000 pageviews a day, every day, 7 days a week, with certain events spiking our daily readership as high as 30,000 on some occasions.

We encourage you to check out the Pincher Creek Voice (click here) to get an idea of our intent with this site.  It will take some time (and advertising) to build this site up to the vibrant level of coverage Pincher Creek has become accustomed to from us. Watch us grow!  

For now the Crowsnest Voice classifieds will be posted to our current classifieds site, www.pinchercreekclassifieds.com.  I anticipate creating a similar classifieds site for the whole region (with a name that reflects that) to serve both publications once the readership and advertising level warrants it.  Similarly, this site will get a dedicated email address at some point as well.  

First and foremost we're going to work at covering as best we can the myriad of communities, events, politics, sports, and issues of the Crowsnest Pass.

The Crowsnest Voice will be an online-only publication.  As we've proven in Pincher Creek, that allows us to concentrate on the present and the future of the news industry, and allows us to publish far more content in a quicker, more relevant way.  Like the Pincher Creek Voice, this is an independently owned and operated venture, paid for (hopefully) with advertising.
