This weekend marks the end of the 2013-2014 Chinook basketball season," explained Club President Bryan Burns. "Aside from multiple games being rescheduled due to weather, the season was a success. As league president, there are a few thank you's I would like to extend. First off, thank you to the players, coaches, referees, volunteers, bus drivers and athletic directors. It is with all of your efforts that we were able to enjoy months of entertaining basketball. Specifically, I would personally like to thank both Randy Whitehead, Matthew Halton Athletic Director and John Lowry, St. Michael's Girls Coach. Without the countless hours they spent organizing various league events, the Chinook League would not exist. Thank you Randy for organizing the awards banquet and John for creating the league schedule and post season draws. Congratulations to the schools and athletes who won awards."
